Amsterdam, 9 July 1959

Reporter: [first words inaudible] Security is very high tonight at the airport, where a “Constellation” [plane] from Milan has landed with the world-famous soprano Maria Meneghini Callas on board. Journalists, photographers and TV crew are rushing to the plane’s bridge, as La Callas is the last one to appear – a very beautiful woman, wearing a [...] dress and a big red hat on her head. Peter Diamand, the manager of the Holland Festival is standing there, waiting to welcome her and escort her from the plane.
