     CRÍTICA: “The traditional Gala Soirée is presented today.”

     A varied program is prepared for the Teatro Colón.
 
     Tonight at the Teatro Colón, in commemoration of the nation's anniversary, the traditional gala soirée attended by high national, municipal authorities and the diplomatic corps, will be held. First, the National Hymn will be sung by the choir of the Conservatorio Municipal "Manuel de Falla", followed by a program that includes scenes from Norma, Faust and Turandot, with the participation of Maria Callas, Helena Arizmendi, Nicola Rossi-Lemeni, Mario del Monaco, Renato Cesari, Roberto Maggiolo and others, under the direction of maestri Hector Panizza and Tullio Serafin.
